Ground: in our ancestral past, humans were walking on soft surfaces, like soil and grass; nowadays, we are walking on oftentimes harder surfaces, like cement and wooden floor, which requires shoes with more cushion, which then further change our foot, how we move and walk, and how we connect to the ground.
